Who are we?
We’re Mama Kilsmith - We are based in Worcester County Massachusetts. We are an Original Folk-Rock/Americana ensemble Featuring:
- Singer/Songwriter - Serena May Smith - Lead vocalist - Rhythm Guitar and Jake Killoy, our percussionist & sound engineer.

We play as a three to four piece band, and are currently auditioning new band members.
We are a band for hire! We perform live shows around Central Massachusetts, CT and RI. If you are looking for live entertainment for an event in Southern New England, look no further.
We are currently booking shows for 2024... We come supplied with our own sound system and sound engineer. We would love to play music at your venue!

What Do We Play?
We play a selection of original songs, and blend our originals into a carefully curated playlist of lively popular cover songs.
We are “90’s kids” - our current setlist features songs from the best female singers and songwriters of that era. That said, we are more than just a 90s cover band, we keep a rotating eclectic repertoire of music from Today to Way Back in the Day.
We can tailor our setlist as needed to accommodate specific songs or the style preferences of our clientele.

Our Playing Style and Vibe
We can match our style to the atmosphere of your establishment.
In a more intimate setting, we can provide acoustic instruments accompanied with lite understated percussion. If you prefer to engage and energize the crowd- we will bring a fuller sound to your venue with a full drum kit and Rock YOUR House. The choice is yours.
No space/budget for a band? Serena May is available for and actively seeking solo performance dates for 2024.
Our Promise to You
Our group carries itself with the utmost professionalism. We each have over a decade of experience playing large and small live events. We arrive promptly and set up in an organized fashion. We are not “divas”, we come prepared and we’ll go out of our way- to stay out of your way.
Our music is always “radio-friendly”. We handle our own promotional marketing. Last but not least, we always pay our tabs and tip our servers generously!
